Rotom Phone is highly upgradeable. After its introduction In the Galar region three years agoupdated version the smartphone-in-which-the-pokémon-lives finally moving from one rear camera to two. The phone will be available soon in the new Paldeja region also.
It’s hard to tell exactly what the second lens is for – all I can really see is that the main lens remains blue and the new second lens is black. I don’t think there’s enough information to make a reasonable guess as to whether this new lens is a telephoto, ultra-wide, or something else, though I hope to be able to use the second camera to shoot new best boy Fidough.
Also, this new Rotom Phone seems to be mostly an iterative update of the previous one. One new feature is the mysterious glowing blue ring in the middle of the device. Maybe it’s for wireless charging? The ring is set almost exactly where you expect it to be must have a wireless charging coil, after all. While I don’t recall ever being able to charge a Rotom phone on the Galar, I think it’s great that wireless charging could be an option while I am in one of Paldea’s coaching schools.
Disappointingly, the big dots on the top and bottom of the Rotom Phone have stayed by this new generation. This means that it is probably still not convenient to put in your pocket, but in Paldeia backpacks seem to be very popular — I think I’ll have to get one to put the phone. (Maybe someday we will Rotom Phone Mini..)
We’re not talking about 5G support because it can help you stay connected with your friends while you travel throughout Paldeia. However, I really hope that the race with 5G will not become a thing in Paldeia as in other regions.
The the company that makes Rotom Phone. Confirmed in a press release that the Pokédex and map will be reloaded onto the device. But we’ll have to wait and see what other new features might be available before we get to test the new Rotom Phone for ourselves on November 18.
