Wednesday morning Kansas City Chiefs was unable to use his regular practice at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. Rain and thunderstorms in the area forced them to go indoors in 2022. in the seventh training camp.

Second-round draft pick Skyy Moore is back on the practice field leaving practice early suffered a hip injury on Tuesday. While he didn’t appear on the field with his new teammates, quarterback Carlos Dunlap was scheduled to report to camp on Wednesday. Hopefully he’ll be able to participate in Thursday’s practice, weather permitting, giving fans their first look at him in a Chiefs uniform.
Arrowhead Pride Editor-in-Chief Pete Sweeney was on hand with other Chiefs hitting reporters and TV crews to watch the action unfold. Pete’s observations already posted on Twitter – and now we share them here.
Since the reporting rules are slightly different for non-public practices (and training camp indoor practices fall into that category), Pete took a slightly different approach to some of his Wednesday observations.
LT Orlando Brown Jr. took part in the second practice of training camp on Wednesday and did a little more than he did on Tuesday. This is a good thing. We’ll see if he does a full Thursday, lighter workout.

Another Chiefs player starts camp later than everyone else.
DE Carlos Dunlap is thought to be coming to St. Louis today. Joe. Reid was asked if he would participate in practice on Thursday.
“I’ll talk to him first. Together, we’ll work out a plan to get him started here.
Dunlap every season since 2011. had at least 6.0 sacks.

Two more players who have injured us this week are frightening looked perfectly fine.
Minor scares from QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle sprained Monday) and WR Skyy Moore (hip problem Tuesday) are completely non-issues. In Wednesday’s look, both moved as if those moments never happened.

Head coach had an update in one of the players in the Active/PUP list.
CB Rashad Fenton (shoulder) remains on the PUP list.
“He’s another hard worker,” Reid said. “We’ll see how things go. I can’t tell you the exact date, but he is progressing and has been working very hard.

The players seemed to be just ready for the next break.
We may be approaching the “dog days” of camp. Wednesday’s indoor practice was a little crunchier, and that might be a good thing. Bosses will be eligible for an easy day on Thursday and an off day on Friday. You can tell the players are ready to see the next jersey.

And this is where we deviate from the usual procedure. After three days of padded exercises, here it is 10 things on Pete’s mind:
1) I think the Chiefs are more rich in TEs than I thought going into training camp. Before the quad problem, Jody Fortson was back to normal. But in Fortson’s absence, Noah Gray and Jordan Franks shined. I think that no. 83 may deserve as much attention as the no. 88.
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) in 2022 August 3
2) I think rookie LB Leo Chenal may not win the starting job in camp (Elijah Lee has the edge), but he will have a role on downs as a stuffer. He is a lot of fun to watch and I know KC fans will love him.

I think it will be difficult #The superiors keeping four quarterbacks with talented WR and TE rooms…and considering they keep FB Mike Burton.
On Pacheco…He reminds a lot of us of Kareem Hunt…except he runs a faster 4.37 40 yard dash. (2/2)
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) in 2022 August 3
Reid: “Spag knows the situation like the back of his hand… Then [Dave Merritt] been doing this for a long time…David works with those corners and spent a lot of time with them as did Spags. You can see he has talent; children work willingly”.
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) in 2022 August 3
5) I think the new-look balanced offense will take the pressure off Patrick Mahomes to constantly look for the old no. 10. I think JuJu and MVS can finish closer in yards than people think, giving KC a real opportunity for three 1,000-yard receivers.
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) in 2022 August 3
6) Laugh if you must, but I think DE Frank Clark, who has put on at least 10 pounds, looks as good as he has since that 2019 season. the end His release is better and he looks as fresh on the field at the end of practice as he did at the beginning.
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) in 2022 August 3
7) I think C Creed Humphrey in 2021 not being a Pro Bowler was a mistake, and if he stays healthy, it will be the last time in his career that he misses an exhibition game…or whatever it is.
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) in 2022 August 3
8) I think I like the chatter and scoring of S Juan Thornhill (guaranteed to be All-Pro), DE Mike Danna (5-6 sacks) and LB Willie Gay Jr. (want to lead NFL quarterbacks in INTs). Gay called out Mahomes on Wednesday, saying if he can do it 15 years ago, why not?
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) in 2022 August 3
9) I think K Harrison Butker is already in the middle of the season…looks like his range is in the 50’s.
— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) in 2022 August 3
10) I think #The superiors will keep six wide receivers, and I think one of them will undoubtedly be Justin Watson. As for Watson… (our notebook includes post-practice chat, press audio, injury report, tweet, quote of the day and more) https://t.co/UDzMBRpOGw
