MSI confirms that Ryzen 7000 CPUs and X670 motherboards will arrive on September fifteenth.

MSI X670 motherboards will be available in mid-September

Yesterday, MSI revealed the design of its new X670 motherboards, today the company confirms when they will be launched.

MSI has now confirmed that this is exactly when the Ryzen 7000 and X670 motherboards will arrive and that is September 15th. This is actually the first confirmation of a Ryzen 7000 release date, as both CPUs and motherboards are rumored to arrive on the same day. According to MSI, that’s exactly what will happen.

The MSI X670 primary series includes three X670E and one X670 motherboard. These include the MEG X670E GODLIKE (flagship model), the X670 ACE and the MPG X670E Carbon Wi-Fi. The only non-Extreme option is the PRO X670-P Wi-Fi card. MSI hasn’t shown any B650 motherboards so far, but it’s safe to assume that we might see one before or on August 29th. with the announcement of the Ryzen 7000 series.

AMD’s Ryzen 7000 specs were leaked this week, allegedly on the same day that AMD provided those specs to board partners. Of course, no time was spared this time. The Zen4 CPU range consists of four SKUs, up to 16 cores, 5.7GHz and 170W TDP for the flagship Ryzen 9 7950X CPU. All four SKUs are expected to launch on September 15th.
