Chrissy Teigen is expecting another child with husband John Legend.
She announced the news on social media on Wednesday, almost two years after the couple experienced pregnancy.
Teigen took to Instagram to share photos of her baby bump and shared her pregnancy journey and her fear of announcing it. A former model has spoken publicly about her fertility struggles in 2020. lost a son after problems with bleeding and placental abruption.
She said she was full of joy and nerves.
“Every appointment I say to myself, ‘OK, if I’m healthy today, I’ll post,’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief when I hear my heartbeat and decide I’m still too nervous,” she wrote.
To in 2020 October month, Teigen said she gave birth to her son Jack at 20 weeks with her husband and mother. At the time, she was bedridden and bleeding profusely, which eventually led to a blood transfusion.
“People say that experience leaves a hole in your heart,” she wrote. – Of course, the hole was made, but it was filled with love for the one I loved so much. This space does not feel empty. Feels full.”
It’s unclear how far along Teigen, 36, is in her pregnancy or whether she knows the gender of her baby.
In February, she shared that she had resumed in vitro fertilization.
“Just wanted to let you know that I’m in another IVF cycle to save as many eggs as possible and hopefully give birth to some strong, healthy embryos,” she wrote in the Instagram caption.
Teigen and Legend are also parents to daughter Luna, 6, and son Miles, 4.
