A New York McDonald’s worker’s mom threw a flurry of chilly fries in frustration

Mother of a McDonald’s employee a bullet to the neck in an argument over cold fries She couldn’t rest like she did, The Post said Wednesday a young son fights to stay alive.

“I’m really not ready for this,” said the mother, who did not give her name, at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, where her son, Matthew Jeremiah Webb, has been in critical condition since the shooting Monday night.

“I just go back and forth with so many flashes in my head. My mind is not stable.”

Webb’s mother said she feels she needs a “stronger family around me” as she prays for her 23-year-old son and waits for news.

A distraught mother in the hospital Wednesday morning asked a pastor to pray with her son in the hospital room.

“I’m almost not going to rest. I’m very tired, I need to call someone,” said my mother.

She declined to update The Post on her son’s condition, but police said he was listed in critical condition Wednesday morning.

Webb was working Monday at the McDonalds at 1531 Fulton St. in Bed-Stuy when he was allegedly shot by 20-year-old Michael Morgan around 7 p.m. on the sidewalk behind the chain.

Morgan, 20, was charged Tuesday night with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said. Camellia Dunlap, 18, Morgan’s girlfriend, was charged with two felonies in possession of a weapon after she admitted to cops that she gave her beau the gun, law enforcement sources said.

The alleged shooter came to Mcdonald’s after his mother, Lisa Fulmore, got into an argument with Webb after she was served cold fries.

Fulmore started bothering the employees about fries and when they laughed at her for asking to speak to the manager, her son burst into the restaurant to defend his mother, She told The Post. in an exclusive interview. At some point, Webb went outside the restaurant and was then allegedly shot by Morgan.

“My son just says he has to do what he has to do and [victim] came after him and what happened happened,” Fulmore said.

Law enforcement sources noted that the victim had no prior arrests and there was no indication that he was carrying a gun when he was shot.

Morgan has been arrested several times before, including for grand theft in 2019 and assault and theft of service in 2018, police sources said.
